We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Workspace (IT Support) Technician to be based in our Singapore office. Working as part of a newly formed team, you’ll assist in managing the EUC environment and ensuring stability and efficiency for our people in the Asia Pacific region. Working onsite, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and business applications and services. This could involve deploying business applications, troubleshooting meeting room equipment, anything that is needed to allow our colleagues to work seamlessly.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys what they do and has a determined ‘can do’ attitude.  A confident communicator, you should also be able liaise and communicate effectively with internal and external partners at all levels.

What will you be doing?

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and diagnosing issues and problems.
  • Advising colleagues on action to take.
  • Categorising and record reported queries.
  • Overseeing the lifecycle of Digital workspace assets, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, Microsoft Teams room equipment and our wide variety of software.
  • Supporting the running of our newly introduced Technology studio which is a flexible space for podcasts, talk shows and internal training.
  • Managing and maintaining the Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Autopilot solution to ensure a robust and standardised user experience across all devices and roles within the organisation.
  • Working alongside the Digital Workspace team to identify, diagnose and resolve issues and problems whilst using your relationships with colleagues from around the business to provide recommendations and improvements.
  • Effectively collaborating with the Security and Networks team to address security vulnerabilities and maintain a secure estate.
  • Taking part in the out of hours rota.
  • A commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Your strong communication skills will help you to diagnose the user’s issue and to explain technical issues in ways that non-experts can understand.

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and knowledge sharing skills to colleagues of all technical ability.
  • Experience supporting users in a remote environment.
  • Able to independently manage your own workload.
  • The ability to develop inhouse relationships with the broader Technology function and the wider business.
